Database

Every service owns its own PostgreSQL database. The schemas are defined by Flyway migrations in stratastax-contract, and the pages in this section are generated from them with tbls: one page per table with its columns, constraints, indexes and ER diagram.

The docs are built from an empty, throwaway database with only the versioned migrations, so they show the structure and never any data. The comments on tables and columns come from the migrations themselves; they also name the invariants that the application, not the database, enforces. The naming rules are in NAMING.md.
